 Before you buy a puppy

Before you buy a puppy, please do your research about the breed you are considering. Not all breeds are the right fit for everyone. The internet has opened up the world for research.

Many people make the mistake of purchasing a puppy just because "it's pretty" a pretty dog isn't always the best dog for each household.

Talk to different breeders or people that have experience with the breed you are considering. If a breeder tells you that the breed has no faults, they are lying to you. ALL breeds have some type of fault.

Remember, buying a puppy is a long term commitment! Puppies only stay "cute" for a few months. All puppies will go through a "terrible twos" stage and, during this time, it can be very challenging.

I strongly reccommend that EVERYONE take their puppy to puppy classes, even the experienced owner will learn new things.

Things to consider: Do you have adequate time to spend with your puppy? Do you have a dog sitter to care for your puppy when you are away? Do you have an big enough yard with adequate fencing? Do you have a Vet? What about for emergencies? Do you have a trainer? Are you financially able to care for you new puppy? Does your entire family agree with the purchase of the new puppy?

Most importantly, are willing to commit to this puppy for the next 10-15 years?

All puppies are sold with limited registration. Full is available to approved homes. Conditions do apply. Please contact me for details.
